thank you!

Today  I want to share a very simple thank you card made from one of my favourite polish papers Makowe Pole.
I found this one so pretty I didn't want to cover it up so I have just fussy cut some flowers and arrange them on the paper.
The flowers are outlined with black intense crayon and white pitt pastel.

Oh So Blue

It is such an honour to be a GD again at Stamps and Stencils with the theme
,,Oh So Blue''.
This time of year it is easy to start feeling blue now that the festivities surrounding Christmas are over and winter is making its presence known with less sun and more miserable weather so instead of giving in to it let's celebrate blue.
I was also inspired by the little blue flowers breaking through the snow, giving us hope for better, brighter days soon.

I started with dry embossing some blue cardstock using a Memory Box stencil.

Next the tags were  cut with my new set of dies.

I gave them a coat of gesso using the same stencil.

Added some colour with gelatos and Perfect Pearls Mists.

I fussy cut some flowers from a tissue and glued them using gel medium.

I finished my tag adding some stamped text, white embossed snowflakes and some embossing on the edges. I put all the pieces together using dimensional tape. The blue rhinestones, a bow and a sentiment were the final touch.
Hope you like it:))

friends

There is a brand new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday and our theme this time is ''Silhouettes''.
Go take a look of other DT-members inspirational pieces of work.
My take on the theme is a journal page- it is a tribute to my lifetime friend.
We have been soul mates for 43 years and I love her very much.

better late than never..............

I am so sorry to be sooo late with my post. I have just came back from my Christmas Holidays where I simply couldn't find time to play with anyone else but my granddaughter Maya.
To the point... there is a brand new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is
Letters and Numbers.
As always how you interpret this and what you make is entirely up to yourselves, as long as you use the theme. Just pop over to see some wonderful ideas from the D.T.

My take on the theme is a wee  notebook which I altered using chipboards and lots of mixed media products.

There was also someone else waiting for me at home.
I was so surprised to find a little angel called Claudine. Wonderful Chris has made it for me!
Isn't she gorgeous?

Thank you dear Chris with all my heart!
